Skin Mets ?
 

Hi all, i have just reached my 4 yr mark, and now have a tiny bump( non itchy) directly below my mast. scar. I noticed this a couple of weeks ago, and found 2 more, ( very tiny too)one on my arm and one on my back ( all very close to my surgery site)
I know I may need a biopsy, but was wondering what skin mets looks like? Is it found with IDC ?I am scheduled for my yrly PET this week in Fla, and always have crazy scan-ziety!

I did not exactly have a tiny bump but I did have some lumpiness and swelling on my left mastectomy site which turned out to be benign scar tissue.

I am praying that yours too will be benign.

a good dermatologist should be able to do a biopsy or completely remove those little bumps.

My skin met started out looking like a little pimple or bug bite. After my mast., it spread into a small rashy area. About the size of a nickel. I have seen pics of other types of skin mets. They looked pretty much skin colored, almost like grains of rice under the skin.

Yup, a biopsy is the best way to determine what you are seeing. My bet is that it is NOT bc mets. No way no how!

I just noticed (funny how we are, eh???!!!) I have a tiny bump in my armpit...more like a tiny skin tag? My armpits are still fairly numb...since surgery...so don't know if it is itchy or anything. Hey, speaking of itchy...do any of you have phantom itches in numb areas>? I do, and it drives me nutty!!!

Suzan, I get those phantom itches and the scratch doesn't work on them.... grrrrrr

good luck with your scanxiety Linda, hope your little bumps are just little bug bites/ irritations... I had one on my upper back that freaked me out, but it went away and was probably a spider bite or something
