When I was diagnosed with breast cancer 5 years ago today I found VERY little long term stories (until I found this wonderful site...thank you Joe and Christine) for people with my "similar" dx and have always maintained that even as we get further away from our dx and life becomes "more normal" we should STILL come back to HER2 Support every year and update our stats if ANYTHING but to give the next person hope. I may not post much anymore, but know that you are all in my prayers. I was told when I was first dx that it gets easier with time and while I found that hard to believe while in the midst of treatment, it has gotten easier. Take care and God bless.

Rhonda, First of all....congratulations on being five yrs out....that's wonderful. Also it's so thoughtful of you to post and remind others to do the same. I think it's very important especially for the newly dx that stumble across this website to see positive stories. So thank you. (Now...go out and celebrate!) :)
