Rest in Peace-My Her2 Sister
 

Yesterday my Her2 Sister became an Angel.

We met at the Onc office 3 years ago and then at the Treatment center the next day and became fast friends scheduling our weekly Herceptin treatments on the same day-same time, if the Onc nurses didnt put us next to each other, they soon found out that they needed to, as we talked so much the other patients sometimes complained- she made what could of been intolerable times--FUN!!!

Unfortunately when she was first dx 9-10 yrs ago Herceptin was not within her reach.
So she only received it after the second dx.

She is resting now pain free.

So sorry to hear about your her2 sister. I know you will miss her very much. It is hard when we loose her2 sisters who have shared the journey with us.
Perhaps she will be with you in spirit keeping you company during treatments and making sure everything goes right for you.

so sorry you lost your friend. So many of us wouldn't be here without Herceptin, what a miracle it is. I also didn't get it 12 years ago, only the 2nd time around. Luckily today everyone with HER2 will get it now.

So sorry about the loss of your friend....I have met some amazing women on this journey, and have become very close to many of them...the pain is so hard whenever we lose a friend, this disease brought you 2 together for a reason~~ Stay strong for her
