Need support and prayers too

I have a post mastectomy MRI tomorrow, Wednesday at 11:00 AM PST. There is some hardening that could be scar tissue or local reccurence of cancer. It has not even been a year since I completed treatment and I want some peace in my life, especially for my two kids, 5 and 4.

Please please pray that it not cancer and the MRI is normal. Prayers from all of you are powerful and I really believe in them.

Thanks all and have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

You will be in my prayers. I certainly know what your going thru.
I had a 4CM area on my scar line, that kept lighting up on my PET/CT Scan. On September 8, I had it removed. Everything was just fine, it was scar tissue.

Praying right now for you. I pray that there will be no cancer!! Hang in there. We are here.

Hugs and Prayers,
Lexi

I'll say the rosary for you tonight and may God's angels be with you when you go for your MRI to keep you calm.

Shobha, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm also praying that you are able to get some rest tonight and not worry too much. I'm not a medical professional, but I bet all the smart people I know have their money on it being scar tissue. Please let us know how you're doing.

adding my prayers to the others!

Be well.

I pray for you, too Shobha. My son is also 5, I understand that feeling of wanting it to be o.k. for them. Kids are so tough, though. Take care of yourself, breathe.
Love, Celeste

You've got my prayers kiddo, I know all too well what it's like to worry over bc and have young kids. By the time the tests are over, you are going to feel so good because I have a feeling everything is going to be fine. Take care.

tricia keegan 11-27-2008 04:18 PM

Please add my good wishes for B9 results to all the other's you've received. I too have had scar tissue which my surgeon says does not need to be biopsied or further investigated but I still worry it's not all scar tissue!
How on earth do we know for certain unless more tests are done??
good luck !

jones7676 11-27-2008 04:28 PM

You are on my mind for tonight! Positive results.......

Hoping and praying for good results. Let us know as soon as you can. Take care.

Same thing happened to me. Scar tissue feels ugly and lumpy and it looked confusing and messy on the recent mammogram I had. I was very scared but relieved when the following MRI I had showed no local reccurance! Yours will too, Shobha.

Many hugs and prayers,
Dana
