Yes, I am excited to have this forum to share and give. My story, well no cancer in my family all the way back to grandparents on both sides but, with said here I am a vessel being challenged to move on and grow. I have brst cancer and its of course her2
10/09-brst dianosed
11/09-chemo/hrcptn
6/10-hrcptn only
I am thankful for the ACS and all it family support. without that I would certainly have been lost. Meeting others who sharedd their stories and love has been quite the blessing so I am Blessed and doing well. If I can be an inspiration to others by sharing and giving I am here.

Renee,

Welcome to the Board. If you used the 'Search' button, you can look up past discussions on 'Lymphedema'.

I had it happened to me just 3 months after my surgery in 2007. Basically it was caused by cellulitis - got some very tiny bug bites while picking figs in the back yard. Was treated with antibiotics and later on got fitted for compression sleeve and glove.

If you like to, you can use the User CP button to edit your treatment history in the signature field. Many of us do that just to make it easier to share tips.

Congratulations to completing your chemotherapy.

Thank You all for your love and support and ideas and support stories. I finally got my sleeve and gautlet as well as my night mit and i love it and it is helping along with the exercises and swimming. I have a good lym. specialist who has helped as lot. As for my treatement with the herceptin i feel great, and my energy is coming back. Thanks Again for sharing, Renee
