Adults at Play

This isn't nutrition, exactly, but what do you think of this idea? I think they should get even smarter and put it side by side with a kids' park, and have things like foursquare for adults, hopscotch just for adults, slides just for adults....

What a great idea! I agree, it would be great next to a children's playground as a lack of childcare is often a reason young parents don't exercise.

Thanks AA

Perfect timing - have passed the link on

I am chairman of a group that spent 14 years campaigning for an urban park converted from brown field land - which we eventually got (-: (-: (-: - and it is very heavily used (-: (-: (-: . . .

but could we persuade the planners to incorporate an exercise area - no - instead we got fenced off flower beds !

A very small payback for all you have done in providing so many with such good information over time. Your continuing commitment to better health practices both here and where you live is priceless.

Imagine if everyone watches the video posted at the beginning of the tread and brings up the idea to his/her community...
