48th birthday today
 

Hi everyone
I have just celebrated my 48th birthday nearly 7 years after my first dx of BC and 2.5 years after dx Stage 4. Currently NED.

Hey Jackie,
congratulations! Funny how we view birthdays differently - as the blessing they are. When my oncologist explained the "degenerative changes" in some bones as "that just means you're getting old", he added "and remember, that's the whole idea!"

Note, he did not say I was a degenerate as some have commented.
