I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers; when I pray for all of us I include our caregivers and doctors/nurses too. Thank you for letting us know and please keep us posted.

My Onc treats some skin cancers on his own face. His father died from colon cancer. He takes his fiber, but always fears he will get colon cancer eventually. It makes him so very compassionate. I think he almost cried when my cancer came back. I love the man, even when we don't see eye-to-eye.

I hope for a better turn in doctor's career...
I am sad that your doctor got cancer, but I hope her diagnosis changed her for the better -- more understanding, more empathy, more compassion. Let us know on her progress. Not many oncologists out there are, in fact, compassionate, right??

One of my oncologists that is a brest cancer specialist was going through breast cancer when i was 2 years ago. I think it happens alot because we know what the stats are and more dr's are women
