XBB1.5 The most infectious variant to date is becoming dominant in the US. Yet, it seems people are not taking covid seriously anymore. So we have to be even more on-guard. The Jama article below shows we need to be self-inform.
All of the currently (1/17/23) available antibody based regimens do not work against it. I hope that you have received the bi-valent vaccine booster shot. Limited current data seems to indicates Moderna is better than Pfizer. Regardless, bi-valent booster shot from both Pfizer and Moderna work better as compared to previous booster against XBB1.5.
