Kernal size lump ....
 

Had my infusion yesterday and first off my eyes and noses are watering and itching like crazy. Feels kind of like a cold.....anyone have and if al what did they do??

Now since they found another little lump I have to go get in ultrasound, and they will decide if it's fat Necrosis or whatever.....just don't want it to be another pop up of cancer And another form of treatment.

Sure hope the lump turned out O.K.

About the watering and itching and cold-like symptoms - aren't they on the side effect list of Herceptin? Perhaps you've never had those reactions before. But I've heard people talk about the so-called 'cumulative effect'. Either way, it probably won't hurt to bring it up to the oncology nurse or the oncologist if it continues to bother you.

I had runny eyes during my treatments. Had to continually carry around tissues to wipe away the tears. Didn't have much problem with a runny nose.

Hoping the lump turns out to be nothing.

I also had watery eye's and nose and carried tissue's everywhere, I tried an anti histamine but nothing worked for me at all.

Hey girl - water nose and eyes are one of the common side effects of Herceptin. I had tissues everywhere - in all my pockets, tucked in my sleeve. Felt like an old(er) woman!

Where did they find the little lump? Hope it's nothing

Thank you for your responses....what sucks the constant runny nose will never end I guess. Also, my fingers are so stiff and my wrists and ankles hurt. This treatment gets old for sure!

Are those "runny" symptoms also on the Perjeta side effects list? You could be getting a double whammy with the targeted therapies.

Hope the next scans will show vast improvement!
