Study shows how breast cancer cells spread late in disease development
 
Breast cancer cells that spread to other parts of the body break off and leave the primary tumor at late stages of disease development, scientists from the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and their collaborators have found.

Interesting read, especially the part about the metastasized cancer being similar to the original tumor.

Most molecular biologists (Scientists) that look at origination of cells, etc. believe we have stem cell cancer cells. They are unaffected by any treatment, but if our genetics are programmed to turn them back, they're fresh happy cancer cells ready to grow and spread.

There is so much research is boggling, and everyone is searching for the "cure" to cancer, but perhaps it's another cell waiting to evolve based on the message it gets from our DNA. Perhaps spending more energy on preventing the spread vs. trying to find a cure for the cancer may provide a better outcome.

I couldn't agree more with you that the key is to keep it from spreading. The spread is what kills you.

You are correct I believe. Cancer probably willalways be "incurable"but not uncontollable. Once again, one key might well be copper reduction using Ammonium Tetrathiomolybdate. The cancer cells can spread where and well they like but once they reach a size of about one million cells, they have to produce their own blood vessels to continue growing. So when this size is reached by a cancer they activate proteins that ultimately result in blood vessel formations. Most of these angiogenic proteins are dependent on copper as a cofactor. Read the work of Dr. Linda vahdut and triple negatvie breast cancer.
