Australia Day Swim - I did it!
 

Hello my friends
I had to share that I completed the ocean swim today - it was hard and I had a wonderful friend support me all the way - I came last in my group but I finished and swam it about 5 mins faster than normal for me.
I'm tired tonight - I'm day 10 of my cycle - crazy huh?
I did the race with at least two other women with stage 4 BC - one another her2 warrior who continues to amaze - currently been NED for about 18 months - been stage 4 for 5 years and she is 34 - I am so proud to call her my friend and hero. I also raced with a friend who had cystic fibrosis and has had a double lung transplant - he is truly amazing.

Amanda...Wow you go girl!!!What a way to make your family even more proud of you!!! We are proud of you too!! Your friends sound amazing...Those are the kind of people we need to surround ourselves with!! We can gain strength from each other!!! And you even took 5mins off your "normal" time!! WOW!!
