Danger times of recurrance??
I may be wrong but thought I read here before that 7-8 years was a tricky time for triple positive's?? (Regarding recurrance) or perhaps simply her 2 er's in general, but as I'm approaching seven years this summer I'm curious to know if this is still correct??
Thanks Tricia x |
Re: Danger times of recurrance??
I have never read that and I've read a lot! I think five years was considered a bit dangerous and the reason given is that is when women go off tamoxifen.
Enjoy your 7 years free! |
Re: Danger times of recurrance??
Tricia, I dont think cancer can tell the time!! Seriously though, enjoy your 7 years and more. Look at all the people who have got past the 7 year mark. You probably just get the jitters every now and then. xxx

Re: Danger times of recurrance??
Tricia,
I am at my four year point, and there was an article two or three years ago about the seven year mark. Lani, Stephanie, or Becky may know what the discussion was. I can not remember what was being discussed, but it did have something to do with seven years. A doctor told me that 22 to 26 months is a very critical time for my cancer, and she was right. Between 22 and 26 months, the cancer showed up in my lungs. Amelia |
