Re: Osteoporosis Drug Stops Growth of Breast Cancer Cells
I am very interested in this. I am 51 years old. I'm currently taking tamoxifen. I'm also taking Boniva for osteoporosis. I will likely be switching to arimidex within the year and really do not want to. Is Bazedoxifene FDA approved for treatment of osteoporosis? Could I possibly take it for that reason and reap the SERM benefits at the same time?

Diane--I read at http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/262039.php that this drug is FDA approved for treatment of osteoporosis. I think this is certainly something worth discussing with your doctor since you are on Tamoxifen now. Good luck.---bird
