Pressure in head
 

For the last five weeks I have been experiencing pressure in my head. Starts slowly in the morning and increases throughout day. Includes tinitus (ringing in my right ear.) The pressure will persist for a few days and then go away. Came on very strong again the day after Christmas and has been with me ever since. New addition, is positional vertigo. The pressure started at top of my head and now it seems to be like a tight hair band around my head. Anyone else have similar headaches?

I have an appointment with my Onc on Friday (called 2 weeks ago, first time was 1/5)

Are you coming off of Effexor? (used for hot flashes) If so, that may be your answer.

I do not have any symptoms like you described. Good that you have an appointment with your onc. I would be inclined to ask for an MRI of the head if I were you. When I was going through radiation I was experiencing pressure like headaches and my radiation onc sent me for an MRI of the brain. Everything turned out fine. Maybe it's just worry and stress. I have found that stress will do terrible things to the body. Good luck to you and please keep us posted
