Well, Rachel's primary care doc called today and said "Don't panic." There was "something" that appeared on the MRI, but three radiologists agreed that it looked nothing like mets, but more like a calcification. But it appears (if I'm understanding this report through Rachel right) in a part of the brain that doesn't usually get calcifications...
So, tomorrow a CAT scan. More news soon. Thanks, all, for your support. Jeff |
Phew! That's good news, Jeff.

Jeff,
The news doesn't get much better than that! Al |
Dear Jeff,
I can't think of a better reason for wine and chocolate...thank God for your good news! Love Kim from CT |
I second the motion for wine and chocolate; already had the wine, now for the chocolate :)

We all learn about little quirky things in our bodies as a result of our cancer followups. I also have a little spot in my brain that had nothing to do with the mets that appeared later. Probably the gate to the hole in my head that my mother always accused me of having! Such a stubborn child I was.
I have already had the chocolate! ( Dark - 90% arriba - and certified organic.) Will wait till dinner for the wine ... |
Steph,
We suffer from the same affliction: "HITHS", hole-in-the-head-syndrome. Maybe our parents are related or maybe we are just a part of a larger population who refuse to admit that they also have "HITHS" Kim, Lolly and Steph, That being said, I'm also glad to hear that we share the same vices. What's friendship without chocolate and wine? Al |
