Five years on
Today, I had the results of my annual mammo and MRI---NED.
I do not post often, but check in regularly and over the last five years,I have benefitted from your knowledge and advice--we have no similar group in Scotland---I thank you all most sincerely. I am so grateful to Christine and dear Joe for this site and to all the old timers like Becky, Steph, Jean who still post. My best wishes to everyone. Nancy dip |

Re: Five years on
More good news to share - I am five years out also. Haven't been on the boards for a while, and want to remind newbies that many of us go away because things got better.
It seems like yesterday, or a lifetime ago. I was glad to see the news that Femarra performed well in 5-year tests, as that's what I have been on. Meanwhile, my younger son is a senior in high school and my older son (with autism) is doing well. My sister had a baby (her 1st, at age 43) and I have a fabulous new nephew. Sixteen members of our family went on a week long Mediterranean cruise in August. I have had complications from my Crohn's disease, and been in the hospital twice this year for that. I have found the chronic illness more challenging in many ways than the cancer. But on and on we go. Best to all, Rebecca |
