I haven't been on here lately, been down in the dumps. Had to put my beloved cocker spaniel "to sleep" anyway, I am a nurse and the nurse that informed you that you cannot talk to anyone is sadly mistaken. That law is for Medical personal to protect the privacy of the pt. It does not apply to the patient. You are free to talk about whatever you want. The medical people, on the other hand, cannot talk about anyone elses case or name any person having treatment, nor can they release any of your information to anyone without your consent. this encludes family memebers, work place, ect... This law is for the privacy of the patient and protects the patient. So Please continue your encouragement to others, I do, because when I am in treatment, I am a patient, not a nurse and discuss my disease and treatment if someone is interested. I also am grateful for any information that I may receive.
