Anyone have mets to pituitary gland??
 

I haven't been on this site for a while but thought I would check in. I was diagnosed in Jan 2014 with triple posits BC, did chemo, rads, hysterectomy, reconstruction. In April 2016 was diagnosed with mets to pituitary gland(very rare) spot on C7 vertebrae and spot on liver, ugh!!! Did chemo again(TCHP), Cyberknife to pituitary gland and my pet scan in Oct 2017 was clear....alleluia!!
I am now on Herceptin and Perjeta every 3 weeks and Zometa every 4 weeks
My last brain MRI in Feb 2017 showed nothing..yay!!!
I keep praying for my body to be strong and even though I might be on these drugs forever that they keep working!!

Great news about the scans, Kathy! Hope the Herceptin / Perjeta combination works well and long for you.

No pituitary mets here either. It's awesome to hear you are doing so well. I hope your current treatment lasts many years.
