Re: Possible Progression/New Treatment For Liver Mets
KDR: best of luck to you.
You will survive. And much longer than you think. It is incredible that you survived the World Trade Centre on 9/11, so you were obviously MEANT to survive. So you will. Is your story, by the way, on 9.11 posted anywhere that we all might read? would u be able to reprint it on this thread? nora |
Re: Possible Progression/New Treatment For Liver Mets
If not already mentioned here, Cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan) has a pill form ready made for metronomic dosing. If your onc is open to it, Metformin pills (Glucophage brand) could help. in fact, there is some suggesting reusing Xeloda at a different dose...eg normal dose switching to daily low dose..might derive benefit. my mom is currently taking metronomic Xeloda, Cytoxan, Tykerb, Metformin, Faslodex..and a bunch of supplements.
