Promising viral treatment for cancers

There has been a lot of investigation lately in the area of viral treatment therapies against different cancers, and this latest one seems more promising than most. Here's the link.

Hope it works. In fine print it said 2005. I hope they are just that much further along.

Thanks Tom for finding this interesting article.
The Korean scientists who did the research seem to have done a thorough job since they demonstrated (in the full text paper at:http://jncicancerspectrum.oxfordjour...nci;98/20/1482)
that the relaxin when delivered through genetic manipulation of a virus does not promote the growth of metastases as does relaxin when applied directly to tumours in animals. On the opposite, they found some evidence of inhibition of metastases in addition to inhibition of primary tumours.
Since their paper was originally submitted in Feb 2006 for publication,(revised in July & accepted for publication in August) I assume that the bulk of the published research was done in 2005. Hopefully they may have further progressed in their studies since that time.
