Zometa anyone?
Hi everyone much love to all. I am entering my 4th year after diagnosis and treatment (2011), I have been cancer free. My doctor wants to start me on Zometa. I have beginning of Osteoporosis, and she considers it might help to prevent recurrence in the bones or breast. I am HER2 + only, early detection and post menopause, 63 years old. Is it recommended? any thoughts? should I do it? BRCA gene negative although a long history of breast cancer in my family.

Re: Zometa anyone?
I have just read a couple things the last few days on Zometa...from what I read it is recommended for women that were already in menopause when diagnosed. It does help with bone loss so if you have osteoporosis I would say take it!
