Danger times of recurrance??

I may be wrong but thought I read here before that 7-8 years was a tricky time for triple positive's?? (Regarding recurrance) or perhaps simply her 2 er's in general, but as I'm approaching seven years this summer I'm curious to know if this is still correct??

Thanks

Tricia x

I have never read that and I've read a lot! I think five years was considered a bit dangerous and the reason given is that is when women go off tamoxifen.

Enjoy your 7 years free!

Tricia, I dont think cancer can tell the time!! Seriously though, enjoy your 7 years and more. Look at all the people who have got past the 7 year mark. You probably just get the jitters every now and then. xxx

Tricia,

I am at my four year point, and there was an article two or three years ago about the seven year mark.

Lani, Stephanie, or Becky may know what the discussion was. I can not remember what was being discussed, but it did have something to do with seven years.

A doctor told me that 22 to 26 months is a very critical time for my cancer, and she was right. Between 22 and 26 months, the cancer showed up in my lungs.

Thanks Amelia and I'm sorry in your case timing was as mentioned and Hopeful, I did a search but could'nt find it so thanks!

Thanks Coolbreeze and Helen for your comments too and yes Helen, I think I always will get a little jittery now and then!:)
Coolbreeze the article had mentioned if you get past 2-3 years the next risky time was around seven years.
