And Dawn, how are you? I haven't seen a post from you for a while and had been getting concerned. You may be Her2- now, but still part of this community!
How are you being treated? Hope all is going well.
Best wishes.... Pam

Re: dearjilly, how are you?

Hi Pam
Thanks for your concern! I am doing fine thanks. I haven't been posting much tho. I find myself still reeling from the deaths of Mandamoo and NEDenise, amongst others. They both seemed to go so fast.

I have been recovering after mastectomy, and infection, and many aspirations. I will rescan in six weeks or so, to see where I am after the surgery and radiation. But at the moment I am on only Herceptin and feeling great! We decided to stay on Herceptin, the last mets were Her2-, but maybe Herceptin is holding back any Her2+. Who knows?

And you, hoping you are still NED?

Thanks for caring

I am worried about dearjilly tho, has any heard from her?

No feedback on Jill?
I'm well - my doc doesn't use the NED term, but i remain stable with liver mets "almost immeasurable and most probably inactive". 2 years now! Still also on Herceptin (and Tamoxifen), so no big problems. Let us know how the next scans go.
Best wishes.... Pam

Re: dearjilly, how are you?

I must have missed a post from Jill...? The last I read was that her brain MRI came out o.k. Wasn't that the case?

Wishing and hoping,

Karen

Re: dearjilly, how are you?

Hey everyone, Jill posted on breastcancer.org! Yay!

All her post said was "I'm here. Just been real rough and tired."

Karen, Jill posted on breastcancer.org on Feb 6th saying she had been diagnosed with leptomeningeal Disease, and was starting WBR followed by IT Herceptin.

Maybe we could all send some good wishes to her?
