Sarah - Thank you for posting this, it's a very interesting read and I am so glad that they are looking further into the side effects of these drugs!

Although I am 4 years out from stopping all treatments, it amazes me that every year something crops up in my health. Example: I had a small tonsil growing on my throat this September. My doctor removed it but she was perplexed at the reasoning why it happened. I really think that all my health issues are results from lingering side effects of all the different drugs that were pumped into me.

Doctors have to understand the realities of surviving chemo/drug therapies and the consequences they can have on our overall health. I remember my last treatment day and my oncologist said, "Go and enjoy a normal life again". Normal? What is that, I will never be normal again! LOL

Normal? That ship sailed with the first drop of chemo! Thank goodness normal is overrated.
