Arimidex (or Anastrozole) and aches & pains

Hi all
I'm assuming many of you are on Arimidex or a similar Estrogen blocker. Ive been on it for about 9 months now, and my knee pain and general join pain is making me feel like a old lady....lol
My onc told me to try Curcumin 500mg twice a day which I just started out of desperation.

Anyone else find this helpful or can lend me any advise? Ive been taking Advil when its real bad, but there has to be a better way!
Thanks in advance
Dee

Re: Arimidex (or Anastrozole) and aches & pains

Hi Dee
Just been on another site & a product called Ketones has been mentioned. Said to help with inflammatory pain and stiffness although I think it is meant for fat burning. Athletes also use it. By Pruvits & sold on Amazon.
I don't know anything about it but maybe worth researching.
Another Lady mentioned that Claritin helps!

I was on Femara for a few years and got to the stage I could not kneel easily. Didn't take anything other than Vit D as I was concerned it would interfere with trial drug I was on! Still take Vit D - it's the one thing I take regularly!

Suposedly high Vitamin D levels (say 70ng/ml) can help. It seems that high levels of vitamin D slow the progress of breast cancer'

My Onc told me to take Glucosamine/Chondroitin which helped a little but you need to be taking it about six weeks to feel relief, exercise helps too.
