Thank you for posting that Becky.

Very thought provoking.

It could be the good old omega-3s are having an impact again. Some reason they don't seem to mention it. Maybe it is something they haven't thought about. Linseed is high in omega-3 hempseed has a good 3/6 balance, protein pushes up the conversion rates to long chain fats, reduction in sugar would assist in increasing conversion rates.

Need to keep this in perspective
 
There is after all a trial in which ER-/PR- women on an extremely low fat diet recurred about half as much as women who were not on an extremely low fat diet (the difference for other BC patients was statistically non-significant) and then there is the retrospective study in which women who ate lots of fruit and veg and exercised had much lower rates of recurrence. Some retrospective work has linked red meat consumption with worse outcomes in cancers.

So, there might be something to it, and it might be an option for someone who was running out of options, but I would want to see the trial results first.
