Thanks Lani. I'm getting my tattoos at the end of June. It is really amazing what they can do. I wanted to avoid any further surgeries so I opted not to have nipple reconstruction. With these 3D tattoos the results look pretty good.

Thanks, Lani! I am going to visit a friend soon. She asked me if I minded speaking with a newly diagnosis neighbor of hers and specifically this woman was wondering about nipple tattooing. I will be sure and share this link.

I have a friend who chose not to have reconstruction after her mastectomy. She had a dragon tattooed over the scar. Pretty jazzy, I thought.

Amy,

I often questioned if I made the right choice in having reconstruction. Its not that my reconstruction looks bad, they just aren't comfortable at all. It is like I'm walking around with cold, hard gel packs stuffed under my skin. Being 56 now, its so unnatural to have these perky boobs! Guess I always have the option of having them removed and then doing a "jazzy" tatoo.

Take care,
Brenda
