Nutritional Deficiencies?

Hi,

I am trying to start taking supplements. I am drinking green tea three times a day and I use a lot of turmeric in all the curries that I prepare.

But, I want to approach this a little more scientifically. Can you all guide me on the right away to go about doing this? Should I get blood work done? I am guessing Insurance will not pay for this process...please advice.

hi shobha,

If you are trying to take nutritional supplements, please do take reishi mushroom powder, also called the Ganoderma red mushroom powder. Its excellent, my blood counts have been good after i started taking that, it increases immunity and does wonders for people with cancer. Its made by dxn. if you want to know more you can visit thier web site - www.dxn2u.com

Nutritional Deficiencies?

Are there naturopathic doctors, internists who specialize in integrative medicine or nutritionists in your area? They are the best people who can help you determine where you are lacking nutritionally. They know which blood tests you may need or they may have other ways to determine what you need.
There are books about nutrition and some pretty decent online sources. If your white blood count is low various kinds of mushrooms may help, but you won't know that for sure until you take a CBC blood test. Generally speaking fruits and vegetables of all kinds help the white blood count which is also known as the immune system.

Thank you all! I will start on the red mushroom powder. I am trying to be good about eating vegetables and fruits but every now and then, I wonder if that is enough or should I supplement my diet.

I will find a good naturopathic doctor near by! :)
