Trish Has Her Wings
Trish has passed away, and her husband left a message to this end on the Stuck Inside A Cloud thread. He was unsure how to reach the group, which obviously meant a lot to them.
Re: Stuck Inside a Cloud I am Trish's husband. My darling passed away late on friday afternoon. She was active and engaged until near the end which came quickly. I am not sure how to notify those in this group with who she had contact but I do know that she was supported, informed and entertained by this group and the online relationships. Kindest regards Andrew |
Re: Trish Has Her Wings
Thanks for posting KDR, even though it's not the news we want to receive. Trish and I exchanged emails, and chatted on the phone, and I felt we had become instant friends. Her spirit was inspiring and she spoke of Andrew and her family with such love.
As Andrew said about this group supporting, informing and entertaining Trish, that's exactly how Trish contributed herself. She shared with me some very informative information specifically to Australian treatments and gave me tremendous encouragement. A very special woman....... Marie |
Re: Trish Has Her Wings
Oh no! Such sad news. Trish has been such an inspiration here, always hopeful, quick to send good wishes and luck. And as Marie said she was a great help to the other Australians on this site. My love to her family

Trish will be sadly missed, I think of her often and am thankful Andrew has let us know. Such a fighter and so caring I feel their loss.

Re: Trish Has Her Wings
I am so sad. I can hardly believe this terrible news. Trish was always so positive and so supportive. I was hoping she would get strong enough to start the TDM1 trial. My thoughts go to her family and the ones who loved her. Michka

Re: Trish Has Her Wings
I am very sorry to hear this. Trish was a remarkable woman in so many ways. She managed to be caring and compassionate of others while facing issues of her own. I loved her sense of humour and her ability to connect with others. We shared emails and information. A wonderful fellow Aussie who will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with her family.

Re: Trish Has Her Wings
I am so sorry to hear about Trish - I too was hoping she would regain some strength and liver function to get into the new TDM1 trial. Sadly, another beautiful woman has passed away from this disease. Trish was always there with an amazing attitude and wise words - I thank her for helping me through the early days but I have shed many tears for her and her loved ones today.
Rest in Peace Trish. |

Re: Trish Has Her Wings
For those who need a memory jogger (I did), it was this Trish who died. She had a beautiful, sweet spirit. Damn this disease.
