myocet/lapatinib trial

Has anyone had this drug? If (big if) my heart echo is ok, I will start on myocet/labatinib trial next week. has anyone done this? Am dreading scans etc, really have the feeling that bad things will be found. Doesnt help that I am undergoing radiotherapy to my back at the moment. I find it so painful on the bench and even worse getting up off it. Thank goodness for oxycontin! Also have to have gamma knife to brain met. Far too much going on, hard to stay positive but will persevere for another while. NED must be somewhere!!!!!!!!!!

Cannot take part in this trial as ejection faction (echo) only 50%, needs to be at least 55% for the trial. So will be on other chemo (dont know name - something beginning with V). Ah well, sod it!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Delaney
Sorry about this trial. Hopefully the new strategy will be effective and on a positive note it looks like T-DM1 may be winging its way soon to europe for approval for all.In the meantime wondered if there were any T-DM1 trial available in Ireland? If not could you travel to the north or England? Just a thought.
Ellie
