Rich66's Mom passed
 

For those of you wondering about the absence of our longtime member and frequent contributor Rich66, he is dealing with the loss of his mom last fall.
Deep condolances to you, Rich.

Some of Rich's posts still pop up on occasion and he was great at grouping posts and articles on certain aspects of our disease. His time and effort have been much appreciated during his years here.

We thank Rich for his contributions and devotion to this support group.

Dear Rich,

So very saddened to hear your Mom passed. I know she is at peace now, her battle is ended. But death is not the end of our story. We move on to another phase of being I believe. Surely she is watching over you still.

How blessed you were to have such a remarkable woman in your life for so long. It is always too soon to say goodbye.

In time, you will be reunited, Rich. For now, live as your Mom would want -- with joy and harmony. Do that for her. And of course for yourself.

Hope to hear from you soon again. We all valued your posts so.

I am so sorry, Rich. Thank you for all that you have done for us over the years. I hope your mother was at peace and had an easy passing.
When our Moms die, we lose part of the child we were. My mother passed away in 1999. Today I bought her favorite flowers and thought of her. My youngest said: you know, Mom, people are not really dead when they are remembered, don't you think? He is right. May all the memories you have of your mother stay with you for as long as you live and sustain and nurture you.

I was so sorry to hear this news and my best to you and all of your mom's family and friends. The death of a parent is always very difficult and I hope you are doing all right. We have all greatly appreciate your posts and advice to help others

Dear Rich, I am just so sad to hear that your mum has passed away especially as you were also coming to terms with the loss of your dad.

Aw, Rich, I am so sorry you have lost your dear mother. No better son was there to have! She was blessed to have you in her corner.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your precious mom. The gap in your days...where she used to be....must be so painful for you. I know your happy memories will comfort you as you heal...but now, the I'm sorry you're hurting.

You are and have been the model son! I only hope my own boys are as devoted to me in my older years. :)
I hope you'll continue to stop in, and share your wisdom and humor with us from time to time.

Rich---As one of the guys here on this board I know how hard it is for you to loose your mother. It happened to me not too long ago and the loss is awful to feel. I know your pain and wish I could say something to help ease it for you. But I can't--no one can. I can say thank you for all the insightful postings you have made here to benefit us all. Rich, I'm sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. Please accept my condolences, too. I lost my Mom twenty three years ago and I still dream of her like she was still here, and in a very strong way, she is and always will be. The same with your Mom. She'll always be there. Take care, brother, and if you ever feel like stopping in, the door's always open. You just try to take care of yourself and your family.
