I am a Management Assistant working at Zahira College, Mawanella. I have undergone Surgical treatment for a severe cancer of breast. I am also a mother of 4 children, my eldest being only 11 years old.
Since August 2007, I have been taking various treatments according to medical advice. My doctor Dr Jayantha Balawardena, has recommended Herceptin injection and has told that there is no other drugs than this for me. He wants me to take 17 injections within a year’s time (for every three weeks)
The price for this drug is Rs.235,000/= each. Therefore the total cost for the 17 injections will be around Rs.423,000/=according to Baur & Company.
As we are unable to meet this enormous amount of expenses and make this humble appeal to all who could afford to help me in this time of need or please let me know where I can find support for this.

hello, i saw your request for herceptin, can i know from which country you are and for how long you have been diagnosed to have cancer

You and your doctor should contact Herceptin's manufacturer, Genentech. Go on their website. They have partner programs and other assistance for those who need the drug but cannot pay. You may be able to get Herceptin for free or at a reduced cost.
