BeyondBoobs.Org

Dear Her2 Support Group Members

BeyondBoobs.Org reached out to me recently. They are also a breast cancer support group. They have been in existence 10 years. It seems their focus an in person/community based support group based (right now) in 4 states (VA, NC, TX and FL and growing) . One of their founders, Mary Beth, sent the calendar their group creates yearly because they have listed our group as a site to reach out to. Specifically because we are an important niche (Her2). I sent Mary Beth the following email today:

----------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Mary Beth:

I am writing to thank you for providing the Her2Support Group's information in your wonderful calendar. Your group seems lovely and the calendar is wonderful.

Our group is designed to specifically help women who are diagnosed with breast cancer that expresses the Her2 neu mutation. However, we are there for all those that unfortunately have to join our "club" and provide information and support.

Thank you for including us. Reach out anytime through my email address or through our website - Her2support.org

Have a wonderful New Year and remember, every day we get a little closer to a cure or a sure fire way to prevent breast cancer forever.

Kindest regards,

Becky Hollis

I am posting this to all of you as a Happy New Year and a tribute to all of you who contribute and post - both by needing support or information and those giving support or information. We are not only helping each other, but we are helping people we don't even know are out there. Thank you one and all.

Re: BeyondBoobs.Org

Our little group has gotten quiet in the last couple of years but it's good to know that it is still a resource for anyone who reaches out. I often wonder how I might have floundered, or still might without the support of the women (and men) here. I hope others will reach out, the more voices and experiences we have, they better we can all face this disease.
