Hopeful
You posted 2 interesting articles. I hope one day a treatment will be found that does not alter our sexual life. I am happy to see some articles showing that the problem is better identified. But the solutions are difficult to find once you are deprived of estrogen. Michka |
Help is on the way
Michka,
My gynecologist is a researcher who specializes in the health issues of women in menopause. She has told me that there are SERMS (i.e., drugs like Tamoxifen) "in the pipeline" that may not only not cause Vaginal Atrophy, but help to treat it. She said right now we need to find an "interim solution." She has given me reason to believe that hormonally positive bc patients will soon have better options. Hopeful |
