IS ANYONE OUT THERE TAKING HERCEPTIN AS PART OF THEIR TREATMENT FOR INFLAMMATORY B/C? I WAS DX 2 IN DEC. 2001 WITH INFILTRATING DUCTAL CARCINOMA WITH INFLAMMATORY CHARACTERISTICS. I HAD 4 A/T TRMTS. MRM WITH TRAM. 2 TAXOTERE ALONE AND THEN ONTO CMF FOR 6 CYCLES. NOW TAKING TAMOXIFEN. IT HAS BEEN A TOUGH ROAD BUT I AM STILL HERE. PRAISE THE LORD.

Yes I have IBC dx Oct 1999. I had a 5cm tumor and did 4 ariamycin/taxotere followed by sugury and 4 more taxotere treatments. Then radiation and Herceptin was started. I have taken Herceptin weekly since then and tamoxifin.

I am doing well and hope you do too.
