Dizziness
Hi everyone. I currently just finished my third AC last week. A weird thing keeps happening to me. On the eighth day, like clockwork, I become dizzy throughout the day. During my second round, I ended up in the hospital because of the dizziness. I had a viral infection. They pumped me with fluids and by Sunday I felt fine. I don't have any other symptoms besides that (no headaches, unusual gait). I do take neupagen shots for 7 straight days after chemo. I am so confused. I was wondering if anyone else experienced this??? I am scared it could be something else.

I guess you would need a brain MRI or some other method of diagnosis tests, you would have better information.
I did have a brain met (recurred a year later after original diagnosis), but I never experienced dizziness. However, when I was on my initial chemo's (4x A/C dose dense, 12x Taxol weekly, I often felt very light-headed. I was told that it was due to having low blood counts (anemic, etc). Perhaps this may be your reason. I would push for an MRI. Hoping that you will feel better soon. Keep us posted. |
