Xeloda
 

I take tykerb at night right before bed. I am not sure how far apart to take the Xeloda. Often I forget to take it in the morning. Is it ok to take in the late afternoon and again at night with dinner? I'm worried I am taking the pills to close together. I have heard that you should take Xeloda 12 hours apart.

The Xeloda should be taken morning and evening, preferrably with food, in divided doses...i used to take 1500mg in the morning and 1000mg at night.

I take my Tykerb at night, too.

When I took Xeloda, I tried to remember to take it during breakfast (but often remembered at lunchtime). I just made sure that I took it at least 8 hours apart. If I took it at noon or 1pm, then I would take it around 8 or 9 pm with a snack. Then I would wait at least an hour before taking Tykerb, right at bedtime.

They want you to take it an hour before or after Tykerb. Hope this helps.
