T-Dm1: "'...decreased in size... density"

My wife started T-DM1 about two months ago, her CT scan came back yesterday, and it's been many years since I read the phrase "...decreased in size ..."

Many thanks for all the good thoughts,

Nguyen

that is great news - a quick response is agood indicator of continued good response. my wife is asuper responder to tdm-1, ned almost 3 yrs. heres' praying your wife gets to ned too ! talk with your dr. about anti -estrogen tx. , to help prevent any re-occ. ahve your doc consult w/ Genentech on latest tx for those who are er+, and her2 +. my wife is her2 only. our doc has talked about possibly treating er+her2 + with t dm-1 to hopefully get to ned then trying just herceptin and tamoxifen for maintenance /reocc. prevention . God Bless and continue to Heal !

Thank you for sharing! I'm glad she's responding well to TDM-1.

I'm also impressed she's had lung mets for almost 14 years and has (apparently) been pretty stable. If I make it 14+ years I'll be in my 70s--not exactly a "normal lifespan" for my family (lots of centenarians or close to it), but a pretty decent run.

Congratulate her on being a poster child for "cancer as a chronic illness." I hope she's having a good, happy life.
