Kimberly Blackwell on EGF104900 Lapatinib alone or with Herceptin, heavily pretreated patients:
"Double wammy" was highly researched preclinically, delayed resistance and increased various mechanisms. 4.5 month median survival benefit in combo. Adjuvant studies in the works, thought to be promising. Combination with chemo to be investigated, but hopes future means less chemo.
