Hypothermia treatment with Re-radiation, anyone?

A young survivor friend is facing recurrence. The plan is hypothermia and re-radiation ( she's had two expert opinions that concur) she's also doing additional chemo.
Looking for anyone with experience!

Where is the disease? I have heard good results with this in lower abdomen.
