Early stage BC and Zometa trial results
Conclusions after 5 years (3 years of treatment):
http://headandneckca.asco.org/ASCO/N...eutersid=10705 "It's also worth noting, Dr. Gnant said, that "the overall outcome of patients in this trial was excellent; this is reassuring that low- and intermediate-risk breast cancer patients with endocrine-responsive disease, even in the premenopause, can be safely treated without adjuvant chemotherapy," he concluded." <!-- / message --> |
I had not seen this report, but my onc told me about it Friday. I was fortunate to start Zometa early in my treatment for osteopenia. Its wonderful to hear it also reduces recurrance.
