blue and red spots on legs?

Hello, I have a question I have started getting what looks like bruises on my legs they are blueish and some red quarter size and larger spots on my legs all over. Any one else experience this? I just finished up 6 rounds of t/c and Herceptin and am on just Herceptin now for a year.

I have no idea, but it sounds very patriotic . . .

I had little red dots that popped up on my legs in response to one of the infusions.

It could be from low platelet count, or numerous other reasons. It is best to get in touch with your doctor's office so they can check it out.

Petechiae are small purple-ish/red-ish spots. This is caused by low platelets. It could, of course, be something else but I agree that you should check with your doctor as soon as possible.

Sounds like an allergic reaction. Do check with your doctor ASAP.

Many years (18?) before my BC diagnosis, I had 'parallel' red spots on both lower legs. Didn't see the school nurse until a couple of days later when I was having difficulty standing up after getting off bed. Turned out I was having 'erythema nodosum' http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/e...cle/000881.htm which could have been caused by cancer and/or many other things. I was checked all over but nothing was found and was given Prednisone for it. Five years later my life-long brain tumor was found and I attributed it to be the cause of the EN episode.
