It's My Cancerversary - One Year Out!
One year ago today, Dec. 18, 2007, I underwent my MRM for my ER+PR+HER2+ BC. Of course I was terrified at the time, because my onc. had already told me that Her2 was more "aggressive."
Luckily I found this wonderful site, and the information and support I have gleaned from it certainly has lifted my spirits and kept me going throughout the past year of treatment. I have just completed #10 of 17 Herceptin infusions, and if all goes well will finish on May 8, 2008 (but who's counting?). Thank you Joe and Christine, and all the amazing women and men on this site. all the best caya |
Yikes! Time to celebrate! Congratulations on today and the many, many more celebrations coming your way! Do something totally fun today for YOU!

Congratulations Caya on reaching this one year mark. When we are first diagnosed and given a treatment plan, it feels like we have such a long haul ahead of us but time has a way of marching on quicker then we realize. All the best to you and many years of good health ahead.

Three Cheers For Caya!!!
December 18 is YOUR day, Caya! Smile and look up and say thank you. Then go out and celebrate! (My date is July 14. That's the date of my mastectomy. 1995. Don't know if that's the date your supposed to count from, but it is always remembered by me and with humble gratitude.) From that moment on being alive had new meaning! Congratulations on reaching your first of many anniversaries, Caya. You have every reason to feel joyful and harmonious! YEAH!! http://cdn-cf.aol.com/se/clip_art/gs...eerleader-jump

You and I share the same date. It was a year ago I lost half my boob! It's amazing how far we have come this year. I could not have done it without all of our sisters here. They have given me support and information that has kept me going and kept me strong. Have a great day Caya and Lets get this second year under our belt! |
