Evusheld
Hello,
Is anyone on Evusheld particularly if you are being treated with Enhertu? Evusheld is a pre-exposure prophylaxis medication for covid-19. It's composed of two mono-clonal antibodies tixagevimab and cilgavimab. Thanks, Nguyen |
Re: Evusheld
I started Evusheld the beginning of this year. So far so good! And no apparent side effects.

Re: Evusheld
What month did you receive Evusheld? It does not work against XBB variants, so continue to stay safe!
https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-1...ations-us.html "...As of January 26, 2023, tixagevimab/cilgavimab (EVUSHELD™), a combination of two monoclonal antibodies, is not currently authorized for use in the United States. EVUSHELD™ was previously recommended for pre-exposure prophylaxis to supplement vaccine protection; however, SARS-CoV-2 variants currently circulating in the United States are resistant to EVUSHELD™...." |
Re: Evusheld
I was told the trial has been canceled because it didnt seem effective against the new variants. Maybe an updated version is being worked on? I need to ask if I should get another booster when that becomes available. I continue to travel as much as I can and get out and about shopping, dining, seeing friends. My oncologist is a believer in living life to my fullest for as long as I can. And I agree.
