How do the ratings work? Who posts the ratings? Just curious.

I always give the threads that I start a five star rating... LOL - that's how it works in my book. Just kidding. I don't really know anything about how they are supposed to work, but I have rated a few threads that I really think are extremely helpful or interesting.
