Seems hard to believe...my life has completely changed over the past 8 years. I realize now more than ever the miracle of being alive. Not a moment goes by that I am not grateful for this journey. Thank you, my Her2 family for being here for me! xox Suzan

Such good news Suzan! You and Mary-Jo (congrats to you too Mary-Jo), were 'lucky' timing wise to have received the one year of herceptin after your initial diagnosis, and I believe that is one of the most important reasons why you are both still well and NED!

Congratulations to the members of the 8-year club. I am grateful for 7.5 years of NED for me. I just read Lani's post about the French study endorsing 12-month Herceptin. And now I read that maybe I was lucky to get the 12-months and lucky that my insurance did not question it. As happy as I am, I still mourn our friends that are no longer with us. At the same time, I know they would be happy for us surviors and want us to keep on truckin.
