Re: Fever & neutropenia

Penny,

I just said a prayer for you. I know our beloved Denise is watching over you too. And if I know Denise, the mere fact of dying did not interrupt her vigilant prayer ministry for all the people she loved. She's there for you, just as she always was.

I'm sorry to hear this news. I know you're a believer, and that really helps me know how to respond to this news--what to say, to remind you that you are God's beloved daughter and you are perfectly safe. I never know what to say to people who don't feel God's love and presence. But, whatever happens, God will never abandon you. God is with you, come what may. And so are we, including those who have gone on before.

More and more, I know that, no matter what, our true nature can't die, doesn't change, and is cherished by our Creator. On some level (though now we see through a glass darkly), all will be well and all is right and good. Know that God loves you, and we love you too.
