Hope you are feeling well and got out of the hospital today. I am sure you are too surrounded by support to log in over the next few days but we are still thinking of you and can't wait to hear that you are doing better.

Re: Thinking of SoCalGal

Hi guys--good news!! Sciatic pain gone. Just back from first post op visit and cleared for walking. So far I've been the all Ice-rest-ice-Tylenol-did I mention ice-Girl. I am so much better each day, it's surprising.

Still no BLT (bending lifting twisting) for 2 weeks more. And still must wear the Wonder Woman lumbar belt. But I can now sit for 30-45 and I should get up (right now) and walk twice a day 15-20 minutes. So far I've walked about 5. Mostly paying the price for 12 weeks of laying - it's near painful on my hips to walk!!

And I have to wait 30 days to resume treatment. That will mean I've only had rads plus one infusion for 2016. Oh well. Time will tell.

Thanks for positive thoughts!!
Xoxo

Some quality sleep will go a long way in helping your healing process. Very happy for your news. Been there and done that!

Three cheers for moving around and not being in AGONY!! Baby steps while you heal. You have a lot of down time to recuperate from. Think of you daily.

Almost back to normal, meaning I'm procrastinating not walking.
Okay - love to all!
Gonna walk it off... gotta get my energy back and we all know the only way is walk/move/push forward!

Good to hear that (you are going to walk it off). [Be careful not to overdo it. ] We are thinking of you.
