Hmm, find that sweet spot. Well, I think cancer has its merits in one's life. It definitely has introduced me to all the wonderful people on this site!

It proves the old Chinese saying: "Everybody has a tender heart (to be sympathetic to other's misfortune)" I remember the glittering pinky ribbon pin given by a staff after one appointment during the early days of my diagnosis. I pinned it on my pink cap for several years (until it broke into several pieces - then I saved it in a heart-shaped box.) She knew how frightened I was and comforted me with the unexpected gift...
